This Privacy Policy describes how SkillForge ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Geography Lesson Lab mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following categories of information:

- Account information — When you create an account we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. This information is stored securely via Supabase.

- User-generated content — Lesson content you generate (bell ringers, FRQs, activities, etc.) is stored in your account so you can access it later.

- Purchase history — If you subscribe to Geography Lesson Lab Pro, transaction and subscription status information is processed by RevenueCat on our behalf.

- Device identifiers — Device tokens are collected to deliver push notifications and to support subscription verification through RevenueCat.

- Usage and crash data — Basic app interaction data and crash logs may be collected automatically by Expo to help us improve app stability.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

- To create and manage your account.
- To generate and store lesson content on your behalf.
- To process and verify your Pro subscription.
- To send you notifications you have opted into (e.g., feature updates).
- To diagnose and fix technical issues in the App.
- To comply with legal obligations.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described above:

- Supabase — Database and authentication hosting. Data is stored on Supabase-managed servers.

- RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management.

- Anthropic / Claude AI — Lesson content is generated using the Claude API. Prompts you submit are processed by Anthropic in accordance with their API usage policies. We do not send personally identifiable information in prompts.

- Expo — Push notification delivery and crash reporting.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. DATA SECURITY

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Data at rest is protected by Supabase's security infrastructure. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Geography Lesson Lab is intended for use by teachers and adult learners (13 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

- Access and correction — You may update your account information within the App's settings at any time.

- Account deletion — You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process your request within 30 days.

- Push notifications — You may disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings.

- California residents (CCPA) — You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of your information (we do not sell personal information).

8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above or by posting a notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
