Staffing Pro Stacks
Client Problem: The American Staffing Association (ASA) wanted to launch a revenue-generating microcredential program targeted at staffing agencies, with three focus areas: recruiting, sales, and leadership. While they had subject matter experts and video content, they struggled with: -Organizing and packaging the content into a cohesive, market-ready program -Making static videos interactive and engaging -Leveraging social learning to add value -Building a clear sales and go-to-market strategy My Solution: Although this initiative was outside of my original role, I recognized the gap and proposed a strategy to bring the program to life. My contributions included: Learning Experience Design: Recommended using Articulate Rise to create structured, interactive learning paths and integrated Padlet to promote peer-to-peer learning. Engagement Strategy: Transformed video content into active learning experiences with embedded checks, activities, and discussions. Sales & Analytics: Partnered with the sales team to design a sales approach, using Salesforce dashboards to monitor performance and adjust strategy. Marketing Innovation: Hosted weekly webinars and introduced discount codes as a promotional tool to drive adoption and generate buzz. Outcome: Accelerated time-to-market for the program by creating a clear and engaging delivery model. Established three new revenue streams through the recruiting, sales, and leadership microcredentials. Strengthened ASA’s competitive advantage by addressing an unmet customer demand with innovative learning and marketing strategies. Demonstrated initiative by identifying a critical business opportunity and successfully executing it in addition to my core responsibilities.
Software Training and Assessment Tool
The Client's Problem: The client wanted to train new providers on how to use the proprietary software for online therapist at scale. Previous trainings that were mostly done via video tutorials and a Rise 360 course were insufficient. Providers routinely were unable to answer basic platform questions or perform many daily tasks without customer support. My Solution: I recognized several issues with the previous training methods. First, the training was mostly a passive experience that consisted primarily of narration and how-to videos. Secondly, the training did not test the user's ability to perform daily job tasks. In fact, the platform was not heavily featured in the previous iteration at all. No practice was done using the proprietary software at all. Thirdly, the e-learning was not supported by face to face or real time instructional opportunities for those who need it. I redesigned the training into 6 separate courses that systematically set the user up for success. The first module is about setting up their profile and getting ready to provide services. The second module was a test module that included software simulations in which the user is asked to perform those tasks in a simulated environment. The third focused on scheduling and administrative tasks. The fourth was a knowledge check with simulations. The fifth and sixth were focused on using therapy room tools.   We paired this training with regularly scheduled office hours to provide real-time feedback and support for providers who still had questions about getting started with services and using the software. With these changes we were able to reduce training time by several days and increase passage rates on our readiness check substantially.

Javascript
Situation: As part of the Battered Women’s Justice Project (sponsored by Allstate), I was brought in to support the development and revision of a financial abuse and literacy e-learning course. The lead designer hired me specifically to create financial calculators that could handle complex functionality beyond what Articulate Storyline typically allows. Task: One requirement was a robust compound interest calculator. The tool needed to not only perform accurate financial calculations but also present results in a user-friendly way, with outputs formatted to include commas in large numbers for clarity. Action: I built the calculator using JavaScript, integrating it seamlessly into Storyline. This allowed me to bypass the platform’s inherent limitations with triggers and variables, delivering functionality Storyline alone could not achieve. I also collaborated with the design team to ensure the calculator matched the course’s instructional goals and accessibility standards. Result: The finished calculator became a key feature of the course, providing learners with hands-on practice in financial literacy concepts. It exceeded client expectations for accuracy, usability, and presentation. This was one of several calculators I created for the program, all of which contributed to a more interactive, practical, and empowering learning experience for participants.
